Style Classics // Spring/Summer Blazers
Blazers always present a classic look and even though its a signature Fall outerwear piece you can rock out in this style during warmer months as well! To classify and/or identify a blazer as a spring/summer piece here are a few things to look for:
1. Whether or not it features lightweight material. Usually thin, sheer and lace materials are great for spring/summer so be sure your blazer doesn’t keep you too warm but is more so for the style and light cover up.
2. Usually crop blazers are a bit more appropriate for spring/summer. While long blazers can totally work as well, crop fits allow for more breathing room and breeze!
3. The sleeves on blazers matter because you’ll need to either get one that has a 3/4 length or one that can be rolled up easily. Sometimes blazers are too tight around the arms so rolling up sleeves isn’t always an option.
4. The color of your blazer sometimes matter as the look will pop more according to the color palette set for the corresponding season. For example, bright and even neon colors are awesome right now. Prints such as floral and animal patterns are also admirable during the spring and summer months!
Using these tips, analyze the blazers you already have in your closet and set out to get a great collection for spring/summer!
